When my 4 year old first rode this on the "level 2" setting, he rode it back and said "it's too fast", which is exactly what I want to hear since that means it'll be much better at going up hills and stuff. This scooter is honestly fantastic! It's super easy to charge with the included USB-C port which I love VS the usual proprietary charging cables these types of scooters come with. The battery life seems good, we'll have to use it a bit more to be sure but my son used it for about 5 minutes going up and down hills and the battery only lost about 1% so hopefully it should last us a pretty long time per charge. The design of this is pretty good, though I do want to say I noticed one thing I love and one thing I DO NOT love about the physical design of this. I love that when you lean left or right with the handlebars, the wheels easily turn with how much you lean, and it makes it super easy to move and turn while riding this. Seriously, it's so much better at turning than some other kids scooters my kids have used. The thing I DO NOT like about this though, is that once the vertical column for the handlebars is locked into place vertically, it has a little bit of wiggle forward and backward. It's not a big safety issue and it's not the end of the world, but I do wish that the handlebars had less wiggle forward and backward when holding on to them. I really noticed this because my 2 year old was standing on this and throwing himself forward and backwards while holding on to the handlebars and I was surprised by how much the vertical column moved a bit while he was doing that, so I wanted to mention it. Outside of that, this scooter is very good, crazy fast, seems very durable, and I love the cute little lights that run along the sides of the scooter where you stand, they look really cool how they're kind of glowing at night and look very neat at night when the glow seems brighter. The brakes on this are super easy to use and I like how the whole back thing is a break and you don't have to just step on the back of it to slow down. Overall we're very happy with this scooter and it pretty much works exactly as I hoped it would, so I give this a 9/10, definitely recommend, it's a great and reliable kids scooter at a pretty fair price for what you're getting.
